About Us

We thought this site wouldn't be complete without the traditional 'About Us' page.

This site was born at the end of 2006, just in time for Christmas 2006. We wanted to give some friends and family spread around the world the option to buy us some presents with ease, and using the internet and creating a wish list seemed like the obvious thing to do. Not only did it work, we were asked if we could create similar sites for others too.

Building on the concept, we fleshed it out to offer everyone the chance to create their own page where others could give to them, without needing the expertise to create and build a simple website and without cost.

Now you have the chance to have your very own virtual wish list - it's kind of like a year round Christmas list where people can buy you something whenever they feel like it in return for what you have done for them, and just because you are an all round decent person, or they haven't met you but are very generous!

And it a nutshell, or a few paragraphs, that's how the site came about!
